Thank you to Rachel Watts, Kathryn Walsh, Helen Buckley and Jean Lingard for a spectacular Winter Ball. It is fitting that, as this is the last ball organised by Jean, there were
record takings of £4,091. We would all like to thank Jean for so many great party nights and raising thousands of pounds for the school.
The event was supported by 6 sponsors: The Orth Team,
Cheshire Skin Doctor, Kiddy Cook, Chappell & Bridge Dentist, the Exchange Chambers, Nick
Lowe and once again by Jill Bottomley of the HR Dept. Thank you also to BooHoo for their £20 voucher in all the Ladies gift bags, and to KPhotography for these photos. |

We hope that you all enjoyed the Christmas Fair. The atmosphere was fantastic and so many people commented on how much they enjoyed it.
Thank you for all the donations and to everyone who helped make the fair such a success. We raised over £4000
A Huge Thank You to Kirsty Grieves for a magical grotto, Kirsty is a reception parent who very kindly offered the use of her bell tent and decorated it. It was fantastic to see and hear so many children talking about how wonderful it was. Check out her website www.mylittletentevent.co.uk. Also thank you to Jon Grieves who did an amazing job supplying and cooking delicious food (Jon has a restaurant in Manchester - Choice).
Thank you to Richard Fox, a year 1 parent, who works for Barclays Bank as they have a "£ for £" matching scheme on money raised by staff for good causes/charities. Richard ran the Raffle Stall so we are looking forward to receiving approx £750.
We are always looking for ways to improve the fair so if you have any ideas or would like to be involved please post them to the PTA Box in the entrance hall. |

Many thanks to everyone who attended the Infant Autumn Walk on Saturday - you raised just under £600 so well done.
We started off with a cake sale in the playground on Friday, 8 Mums raised £50 in 15 mins! That was a great start to the weekend's fund raising! Thanks to Becky Fletcher, Jo Chowdry, Lorraine Thompson, Gill Edmonson, Jane Fitchet & Jo Wilkinson - the children were delighted.
Over 75 Children attended the Autumn Walk, enjoying a fun walk and questionnaire followed by balloon modeling, tattoos, golden conkers exchanged for gold treasure, a £50 Game, and delicious food catered by Red House Farm. Not forgetting our chocolate fountain which the children obviously enjoyed very much!
A huge thanks to Miss Chappell and Mrs Brierley; this event couldn't have taken place without their efforts, once again.
Also well done to Jo Chowdry for spraying over 200 conkers!
Watch this space to see how the money is spent...
